Meet Our Teachers
The People Behind Every Lesson
Choosing the Right Teacher
Choosing an online Quran teacher is not like choosing a maths tutor.
You are choosing the voice that will teach your child how to pronounce the words of Allah. The person who will sit with them, week after week, when the letters feel difficult and confidence is low.
That person should never be anonymous.
Why This Page Exists
So this page exists for one reason: to show you exactly who we are, what we have studied, and how we teach before you commit to anything.
Read it carefully. Ask us questions. Then book a trial.

Meet Our Teachers
What Sets Our Teachers Apart
Every teacher at Rahman Quran Academy is selected for more than qualifications. We focus on knowledge, teaching ability, communication and long-term relationships that help children grow with confidence.
Every Teacher Has Completed Hifz
Memorising the entire Quran changes how a person understands it. Our teachers have lived with the text for years, not weeks.
Every Teacher Is Trained to Teach Children
Knowing the Quran and knowing how to teach a seven-year-old are two different skills. We insist on both.
Every Teacher Stays With Your Child
You are matched with one teacher. That teacher learns how your child thinks, where they struggle, and what makes them smile.
Every Teacher Speaks Your Family’s Language
English fluency is not optional. Our teachers explain, encourage, and correct in language your child understands immediately.
Every Teacher Answers to a Standard
Not a script. A philosophy child-first, patient, and never rushed.
Teacher Selection Process
Not Everyone Who Applies Becomes a Teacher Here
Most teaching applications we receive are declined.
Not because the applicants lack sincerity, but because teaching someone else’s child requires more than good intentions.
Here is what every teacher passes before they ever meet a student.
Credential Verification
We ask for the original Hifz Sanad and the name of the institution. We verify it. No exceptions, no “in progress”, no self-declaration.
Recitation Assessment
The applicant recites for the founder. We listen for Makharij, Tajweed accuracy, breath control, and consistency — not for a beautiful voice.
Teaching Demonstration
The applicant teaches a mock lesson to a beginner. We watch how they handle a wrong answer, a distracted child, and a long silence.
Character and Conduct
We speak to references. We ask about patience, punctuality, and how the applicant behaves when no one is watching.
Trial Period Under Supervision
New teachers begin under direct observation. Sessions are reviewed. Feedback is given. Only then do they teach independently.
Our Standard
If a teacher fails at any stage, we stop there.
Qualification Is the Starting Point, Not the Finish Line
A Sanad proves what a person has memorised. It does not prove they can teach.
So every teacher who joins Rahman Quran Academy is trained in our own teaching method before their first paid lesson.

Teaching Children, Specifically
How to hold a child’s attention across a screen. How to correct without discouraging. How to end every lesson on a win.
Our Tajweed Correction Method
When to correct immediately, when to wait, and how to explain a Makhraj so a child can actually feel it.
Lesson Pacing
A slow lesson that is understood beats a fast lesson that is forgotten. Our teachers are trained to read the student, not the clock.
Parent Communication
How to send a clear, honest weekly update including the parts that need work.
Safeguarding and Conduct
Class boundaries, appropriate communication, and the standards we expect in every single session.
Teaching Standards
The Standards Every Teacher Follows
These are not suggestions. They are the conditions of teaching here.
One Student Per Class
Always. Never shared, never doubled up.
The Lesson Starts on Time
Your child’s slot belongs to your child.
Corrections Are Gentle
Never sharp, never impatient, never in front of anyone else.
Progress Is Honest
If a student is struggling, the parent hears it that week not three months later.
Every Session Has a Purpose
The teacher knows what today’s lesson is meant to achieve before it begins.
The Child’s Confidence Is Protected
A student who is afraid of their teacher will never love the Quran.
Our Standard
If a teacher cannot meet these standards, they do not teach here.

Why Qualifications Matter
The Difference Between Teaching Quran and Being Trained to Teach It
Many good people teach the Quran. Sincerity is not in question anywhere. But there is a real difference between someone who can read the Quran well, and someone who has been formally trained in it and trained again in how to teach it.
Someone Who Simply Teaches Quran
May recite beautifully.
May be devoted and kind.
May not know why your child keeps confusing ص and س.
May not recognise a Makhraj error before it becomes a lifelong habit.
May not know what to do when a nine-year-old loses interest in week six.
Every Session Has a Purpose
Has memorised the entire Quran under qualified supervision.
Holds a verified Hifz Sanad.
Has taught many different students.
Knows which mistakes to fix immediately.
Knows how to rebuild a child’s confidence.
Our Standard
This is not a criticism of anyone else. It is simply the standard we hold ourselves to, because your child’s foundation is built once.
Student Matching Process
You Are Not Assigned a Teacher. You Are Matched With One.
Before your first trial class, we ask about the student their age, their level, their confidence, and what has or hasn’t worked before.
Then we choose deliberately.
For a Young Child (5–10)
We match a teacher with proven patience and a warm, playful manner. Short attention spans are normal. The teacher’s job is to make the lesson feel safe, not serious.
For a Teenager
We match a teacher who speaks to them as a young adult, never as a small child. Teenagers disengage the moment they feel patronised. Respect comes first, correction second.
For an Adult Beginner
We match a teacher who has taught adults from zero. Adult beginners often carry embarrassment about starting late. Their teacher must remove that shame before anything else can be taught.
For an Adult Improving Tajweed
We match a teacher with strong recitation credentials and a precise ear — someone who can identify subtle Makharij issues and explain the rule, not just the correction.
For a Female Student
We match a female teacher by default, unless the family requests otherwise. See the section below.
For a Busy Working Parent
We match a teacher whose availability genuinely fits your schedule early mornings, late evenings, or weekends — so lessons are never something you have to reschedule every week.
If the Match Isn’t Right
If the match isn’t right, tell us. We will change it, without awkwardness and without charge.

Female Quran Teachers
Female Teachers for Sisters and Daughters
For many Muslim families, a female teacher for a daughter is not a preference. It is a requirement and a reasonable one.
A Comfortable Learning Environment
A young girl learning to recite aloud, week after week, in her own home, should feel completely at ease. Many parents feel that ease comes more naturally with a female teacher. Many sisters returning to the Quran as adults feel the same.
We respect that entirely, and we never ask a family to justify it.
How It Works
Female Students
Female students are matched with a female teacher by default.
Male Students
Male students may be taught by either teacher, at the family’s preference.
Same Qualifications
Female teachers hold the same qualifications and pass the same selection process as every other teacher.
Request Anytime
You can request a female teacher when you book your trial. There is no additional cost and no need to explain.
Your Comfort Comes First
If your family’s requirement is different from what we have assumed, simply tell us. Your comfort decides, not our system.
Teacher Credentials
What Our Teachers Hold
Every teacher is expected to meet clear academic and teaching standards before joining Rahman Quran Academy.
Hifz Sanad
A formal certificate confirming the complete memorisation of the Quran, issued by a recognised institution after supervised examination. Our founder’s Sanad is from Jamia Zaheer-ul-Islam Lil Baneen Wal Banaat,
Tajweed Training
Formal study of the rules of recitation — Makharij, Sifaat, Ghunnah, Madd, and the rules of stopping and starting.
Teaching Experience
Verified years of one-to-one teaching, with real students and real outcomes. Not a number we invented for a website.
Internal Academy Training
Completed before any teacher takes their first independent class, covering our teaching method, safeguarding standards, and parent communication.
Need to Verify a Teacher?
Parents are welcome to ask to see a teacher’s credentials before booking. We will show you.
Quality Assurance
We Do Not Assume Standards Are Being Met. We Check.
Hiring a good teacher is the beginning. Keeping the standard high is the ongoing work.
Our quality assurance process ensures that every lesson reflects the same teaching standards across Rahman Quran Academy.

Founder Oversight
Our founder reviews teaching quality directly. This is a small academy by design — small enough that nothing goes unnoticed.
Regular Session Reviews
We check that lessons start on time, follow the agreed plan, and end with the student knowing what they learned.
Parent Feedback
We do not wait for complaints. We ask you how it’s going, and we act on what you tell us.
Progress Tracking
How to send a clear, honest weekly update including the parts that need work.
A Single Teaching Philosophy
Every teacher teaches the same way: child-first, patient, honest and never rushed. Different teachers do not mean different standards.
Maintaining Our Standards
If a teacher drifts from this standard, we correct it. If it continues, they no longer teach here. Your child’s trust is not something we are willing to risk.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything parents usually ask before booking their child’s free trial.
Every applicant must provide a verified Hifz Sanad, pass a recitation assessment with our founder, deliver a teaching demonstration, provide character references, and complete a supervised trial period. Most applicants do not pass.
Yes. We will recommend a teacher based on the student’s age, level and needs, but the decision is always yours. You can review teacher profiles before you book.
Yes. If the match isn’t working for any reason — tell us and we will arrange a different teacher. There is no fee and no awkward conversation. A student who doesn’t connect with their teacher will not progress, and we would rather fix it than lose your trust.
Every teacher is a Hafiz ul Quran with a Sanad from a recognised institution, formal Tajweed training, verified one-to-one teaching experience, and completed internal training in our teaching method and safeguarding standards.
Yes. Fluent English is a requirement for every teacher, so children in the UK are never taught in a language they only half-understand.
Yes. You are matched with one teacher, and that teacher stays with your child. We do not rotate teachers or use substitutes without telling you first.
Always. Parents are welcome in any lesson, at any time, without notice. We would be concerned by any academy that said otherwise.
